On a different note, I was thinking that as the next Wendyhouse is such a long way away, perhaps we should venture out for a tuesday at Ziggy's? I've still never actually been to their "alternative night", but I hear some pretty good reports. Anyone interested?

Wear a raincoat because of all the sweat dripping off the ceiling.

Wear a raincoat because of all the sweat dripping off the ceiling. So true. I'd be up for it, it could be fun in a dodgy sort of way.

Wear a raincoat because of all the sweat dripping off the ceiling. It was my understanding that Tuesdays were quite empty these days; but that was last year, and things probably have changed for this term with all the new freshers.

Ok kids, here's the deal. Wendyhouse (that's a goth/alt night in Leeds, for anyone who doesn't know) is next saturday night. I certainly intend to go, and am hoping to bully Jess and Tim into going. Fran, I suspect you're interested, so anyone else at all? This ain't exactly going to be an "official" archery social, but its worth a try...
On another note, a few people have suggested going to the Cockpit (also in Leeds) which sounds like a good idea as well. We can think about that as a slightly longer-term option.
Oh, the idea of a party where we all dress up as elves was mentioned, but I think we might pass that one by.
Any thoughts?

I might fall off the couch from laughing so hard. You come over this side of the Atlantic and say that.
