Me and Timothy thought it might be a jolly good idea to venture to Akbars... Maybe with newbies. Maybe not. Any thoughts? I'm all for Akbars. Week 4, maybe?

I like all of the above ideas and in particular have been looking for an excuse to go to Akbars again, though I wouldn't be able to do Friday week 4 since I have apparently already arranged to go to an event when I eat far too much food!

I could really go for a naan bread the size of my torso right about now.

I will write a meta-comment here about my approval of this idea

So, are we all still up for seeing the Dark Knight on friday? As its a pretty long film we may not have too much time for a bar afterwards. So I'm going to follow Ben's excellent idea of drinking during the film.
...
:-D

Just don't let YSC's crack team of, err, policy... enforcement... staffitude. Catch you. The Dark Knight is definitely something I shall be showing up to. Of course, I get in for free. And I also vote for Akbar's, but aside from Friday, Tuesday is my only free night for such an event. Or else there's weekend-ness.

So I'm going to follow Ben's excellent idea of drinking during the film. Every time Gary Oldman is on screen we have to drink.

However, Akbars! Definitely Akbars. How about Wednesday, week 4? Also, and this actually concerns archery (I'm as shocked as you are): Does anyone know whether my bow is still in the container? If yes, would a key holder be happy to meet up at some point next week so I can go and get it?

Erm. It appears that I'm pretty much the only one still interested in going to Batman this evening. Anyone? Anyone at all?

So, Wednesday it is. I'll write a pretty email this weekend and make reservations for about ten people? Afterwards I suspect we'll have to stop by some watering hole, if only to battle the effect of the chef's special.
