Ok, here's a bit of info on the competition this saturday. The people entered are:
Ed Lotty Jess Lucy Toby Tom Gitta Max
The entries have gone off now, so I'm afraid that's that.
Assembly is at 9.45 in Lancaster, so we're aiming to leave, from Goodricke pick-up point at 7am sharp. The round we're shooting is a metric I&II, so for the gents is 70,60,50,30 and for the ladies 60,50,40,30. 30 arrows at each distance.
Any questions?

no 70s? oh you are joking! they just want to invent different rules for the sake of it, don't they? I just hope they didn't change the faces... *sigh* and yes, I should know: will I drive by car or by bike to Lancaster or Goodricke (respectively)? (just because of petrol...)

Tom is booking some kind of transport for us today. Which means, Gitta, you don't have to drive if you don't want to.
Tim, is Lancaster within the range of one driver? Google says 118 miles and a little over two hours... Surely we've done it with one before, right?

yup, 120 is the maximum range of one driver you'll probably need a minibus though as bows take up room

In other news, there are no vehicles available, either from YUSU or external companies. So, Tim, Gitta, and Lotty, would you care to drive us all there?

Yes, well I don't have to drive but I can, just tell me so I can get petrol in advance... and I would need a navigator

Ok, we're using Tim and Gitta's cars. You'll still need to meet up at Goodricke to get everyone. Tim has a sat nav (the postcode you want is LA1 4YA) so you can travel in convoy.
Sadly, I'm no longer going, as there is no way in hell I'm going to be ready for my exam on tuesday if I take saurday off... So yeah, plenty of space in two cars.
