Joy of joys, this morning whilst i was setting my bow up, I noticed a crack in the bottom limb. Interesting what path it took, it started at the end of the limb on the front face , ran for about 3/4 inch splitting the carbon and foam, before shearing across the foam almost vertically, then continuing for about 2 inches between the carbon and foam on the other side, ending up near the ILF detent. Thank God i checked the limbs... Hate to think what would have happened if i'd have actually shot for 2 hours with them... Suffice to say this was not a great start to the morning.

Doesn't sound good, would be interesting to see them. Did they have any crack or damage to them before? This would be why people advise against buying limbs on Ebay!

I wouldn't say its down to Ebay in this case, limbs appeared immaculate when i got them, certainly looked like well taken care of limbs! There is always the danger though... To be fair i did get 8 months of very regular shooting out of them, and whilst thats pretty damn poor, i think any damage when i bought them would have surfaced before them, not sure though I put it down to plain 'ol bad luck!

I wouldn't say its down to Ebay in this case, No, but if bought from a shop you stand a much better chance of getting them replaced! Of course, you'd also have to spend more in the first place...

Indeed. So long as you got your money's worth out of them before they went is what matters. That and them not breaking during a competition!

Good stuff: They didn't break during a comp! I shot some really nice scores (for me) with them for the time i had them they were great to shoot and i couldn't have afforded a new pair.
Bad Stuff: They only lasted 8 months They cost £150... I probably didn't my get my money's worth
but, gotta look forwards and to consider their replacements.

I believe EUAC had two bows break during a novice teaching session at the start of the first term. Bit scary:-/
