Yes, it's that time of year when we throw out the old committee, and vote in
a new bunch to run the club.
There's lots of positions (details below) available, so if you want to help
run the club, decide which position suits you best, and let us know you want
to stand. If you have any questions about the posts, ask any of the
existing committee - they will do their best to answer your queries...
We do all voting by email - so in order to stand, reply to this email saying
what post you want to stand for and why you think you'd be good at it. All
these nominations will be collected together and sent out at the end of next
week for people to vote on, and the results announced at the club Xmas meal
on Wednesday week 9. (The constitution says it will be the Xmas meal, so the
Xmas meal it will be!)
Timetable:
Fri Wk7: Elections announced and nominations open.
Fri Wk8: Nominations close, and voting starts.
Wed Wk9: Voting ends about Lunchtime, votes are counted and announced at the
meal that evening.
The following few weeks/months - You'll get a handover from the previous
post-holder, and take over the running of the club.
