Hey, can anyone help me with this? I'm just looking at my local club's website and it says this:
"Recurve, compound, longbow and novice archers are welcome to join, where "novice archers" must have successfully completed a beginners course run by EAC, another GNAS affiliated club or Archery World at Preston."
EAC is the club itself, I was wondering if York is GNAS affiliated or anything? I don't really know what that means!
Thanks xx

GNAS is the Grand National Archery Society, currently in the process of being re-branded as 'Archery GB'. Our club is affiliated - I think all clubs have to be, or something. We renew our affiliation every year, which is fun for the new committee.
If you need a piece of paper to show a club at home, saying that you have done a beginner's course with us, then we can easily sort that out.

That would be awesome if you could do that! If it's an easy job anyway - esp if you can email me something that I can print off if it's a big deal don't worry about it though! xx
