Go on, introduce yourselves - tell us a little bit about you, what you like/dislike, and how we can tell who you are in real life.

Yoinky copy paste I'm Tim, the president of this club and I like weapons (sounds like weapons annonomous doesn't it ) Fencing... Archery... Paintballing. I also enjoy playing with computers, kites, a variety of Guitars and Cooking/Baking. Dislikes... hmmm... Lack of being able to shoot (though that might be due to lazyness) And I'm in my third year doing an MMath course I'll be the one wearing a paintball jersey at the AUmart Next one want to step up to the mic

Sometimes its just to hard to be original with topic wording tim!
Hi, I'm Andrew, Treasurer as well as Captain of the club. I'm entering my third and final year of a history degree before I head off to law school...
Apart from Archery, I do a bit of fencing, I'm also hoping to start Ju-Jitsu again after an 8 year hiatus. I also might do occasional paintballing with tim, if I somehow have the time. Other interests are Combat flight sims and scale aircraft modelling. I also love all sorts of political/economic discussion, strange as that might seem!
I shoot a really nice dark red bow with some wonderfull Border limbs that i've spent possibly a bit too much money on!

Hi, I'm Fran and I'm the Social Secretary of the club!
I'm a third year Physics student (but that's no reason to stop talking to me, really) and I like Archery. The idea of shooting things is very pleasing in general and if you add a bow and pointy objects to the equation it becomes simply awesome.
Apart from that I do trampolining and racquet sports if I can be bothered.
And I'm a fangirl. Scary, eh?
Welcome!

I alo have not shot for 6 months so won't be shooting very well. I have quite a liking for dragons and have a lovely green bow. Have fun at york!!!

I'm yet another alumni
Currently doing, err nothing, should hopefully be moving to London soon. You'll probably see me re-appearing far more often than is healthy for someone who lives three hundred miles away....
I have a lovely Blue compound called Eleanor (all bows should have names!) however it will probably be replaced as soon as I start getting paid. Join the darkside!

Evening all.
I'm Ed, one of the club's two Equipment Officers - the one who does all the work, I might add.
I enjoy listening to music, playing the guitar, doing archery (shock) and other exciting things like that.
As I'm a second year historian, I have sufficient free time to attend most club sessions and spend an unhealthy amount of time on the outdoor range.
You should be able to recognise me because I'm taller than most of you. I shoot a big red bow (as yet unnamed - sorry Wayne) and have a fondness for wearing blue jeans and black t-shirts.

Heya all. I'm Owen, and you won't know me because I'm a Fresher (moving in on Sunday). I thought I'd better introduce myself because hopefully I'll be shooting quite a bit over the coming few years!
I was planning on coming and saying hello at the AU fair thingy but is there anything you can tell me about joining? And about the club in general? (sorry if I'm cluttering up the introductions thread, I just couldn't find anywhere else to ask!)
Erm... other things I can say? I've been shooting for about four years now with a club in East Sussex. I've got a lovely old Portland 2000 bow (blue). It doesn't have a name, or a gender, but maybe it should do... I'm an historian, like quite a few of you by the looks of things, and you can probably recognise me: I'll be looking lost!

Great to heard from you Owen. As for finding out stuff about the club and to join it's probably best to just come and have a chat to us at the AU fair, I'm sure we'll be able to tell you everything you want to know! Joining the club costs £12 for the year, but you'll also need to join the AU and Sports Centre as well (as with almost all sports clubs at the uni).

I'm Ben, and apparently I'm one of the Equipment officers. I shoot a compound bow, one that is the self-proclaimed Sexiest Bow In The Club. And I'm a bit of a geek and a Goon (do you have stairs in your house?).

I'm Rosie, and I left at the end of last year. Fear me too, although you can probably get away with far less fear than is necessary to placate Shirt. In fact, slight nervousness should do fine.
All going well, my real job starts at the beginning of November. I'll be attending a couple of sessions before that, so you may see me around.

Oh gosh, one of these again I'm Katherine, I'm a third year historian and I intend to be shooting a lot more this year, although I may ease myself into it by shooting club bows for a while! I'm not very good, so all freshers should be shooting better than me soon! It'll be interesting meeting all the freshers and...last year's fresher who are now more important that me due to wonderful committee positions! I like debating, especially about religion, where I know a surprising amount for an atheist...I also like horse-riding and cooking dinner for people, although DON'T COME IN MY KITCHEN. I live with Anna, Dave and Ben, who are all bigger nerds than they'd like to admit.
